“FED” has
various programs initially designed to cover the Busoga Region of five districts
including Jinja, Iganga, Kamuli, Bugiri and Mayuge but later on also other parts
of Uganda and Africa at large. We shall work to extend support closer to the
people especially in rural areas. FED, is a non segregatetive organization
serving all people with equal opportunity regardless of their color, tribe or
religious background.

 Busoga"
is a region which is in the country Uganda.
It is located at the base of Lake
Victoria on the South, Lake
Kyoga to the North and River
Nile running all along the
region on the
Western. Busoga comprises of 5 districts now and these are: Jinja,
Iganga, Kamuli, Mayuge, Bugiri, Mukono and Wakiso.
Welfare support has along way to go in these area with now only very
little community assistance.

Foundation for Education And Development “FED” is a
Community-Based Organization supporting welfare of needy
children (orphans) and guardians with Formal Education and Vocational Training.
It is a
Non-Profit Making Organization founded in 2002
VISION
We seek to have a just, caring and loving society where children are
endowed with self esteem, respected, responsible, disciplined and
productive.
MISSION
Providing education to the needy and AIDS orphaned children by
sponsoring them school fees and other scholastic materials, improving
their social economic welfare and that of the community.
